2020 Face Shield Project
Team 2607 Face Shield Project
As our country faced COVID19, our students through the Face Shield Project led a group of mentors and alumni using their 3D printers to make headbands and face shield holders to be donated to front line workers.
Our donations went to mostly the Bucks County Intermediate Unit who then distributed them to Bucks County Emergency Operations Center, Doylestown Hospital, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Abington Hospital, Jefferson University Hospital, and St. Luke’s Health Network.
Our team also safely and personally delivered face shields to Wood Services, Paul’s Run Retirement and nursing community, Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad, Jefferson University COVID19 testing site in New Jersey, Holy Redeemer Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and to Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services.
This pandemic took us all by surprise and our team quickly worked to help the community during these hard and unprecedented times.
We stand together with our community during these hard moments. Please be safe!
